Tim scoped something like this out previously, and you can do it pretty cheaply.
He suggested the Creative Zen Nano Plus (1GB) at the time

costing about $50 on Amazon, but similar brands (Olympus, iRiver, ..) have more
featured options at about $100.
You'd probably need to think about what user groups are really established
before buying kits like these - some are a no-brainer.
