[advocacy-discuss] Can we get a HW discount on Sun gear?

I think it would be great if we could get a good discount on one x86
and/or one Sparc Niagra  server or workstation. Basically I want to be
able to run VMs for testing and builds, on decent hardware, as running
on my laptop greatly restricts my options. (and performance is pretty
bad when running multiple VMs with a dirt slow laptop HD.)

I'm not sure what the appropriate forum for this is. (Maybe marketing
would know the answer).

(Obviously this would be a limited offer. Maybe limit it to
contributers, and of course limit it to 1 or 2 machines per
contributer. )
