Sounds like an excellent idea.
- PDF(s) covering FAQ type things like "what is OpenSolaris" and
"where do I get it" plus some decent A4 stock to print it on
- a roll of raffle / drink tickets (I can never figure out where to
get these quickly when I want them and must always resort to
manufacturing them)
- collection of gee-whiz screen casts (ZFS, DTrace, branded zones) and
a set of headphones for a secondary computer/kiosk setup
I like the idea of packing the online media into the box on a DVD for
2 reasons: saves on bandwidth and box recipient has instant access.
Well, and not everyone has a large, unmetered internet connection.
