While Jack is definitely funny, I'm wondering if he would represent the
true "value attributes" of the opensolaris community--not just race and
gender, but his personality is somewhat sarcastic--wondering if that is
a true reflection of OpenSolaris as a "brand". Is the community cynical?
Do we care about people who need to get their computer fixed? How about
the limited nature of his skateboard culture--does that limit where he
could go and what he could participate in. I have a hard time seeing
Jack as an image for opensolaris participating in the One Laptop Per
Child campaign for example.
Just a thought.
