I'd like to point out that newly created osdevcon-announce and 
osdevcon-discuss mailing lists will probably  be good candidates for 
such criterias because they will see the traffic some months before 
OSDEVCON and probably some time later, but they will very probably be 
dead the rest of the year.

Although I believe you will not delete osdevcon-* lists when they see no 
posts for some time ;-)
