I think a hatching Dragon. The egg representing a re-birth and the 
Dragon representing a "formidible force". Dragons represent power, 
integrity, honesty and good luck and are a real advantage if you are 
marketting to china.  If you want a bird theme the ideal one is the 
mythical phoenix which has the power to renew itself (Never dies). The 
phoenix is also associated with fire which has links to the sun (IE 
Solaris).

These mythical creatures  are extremely popular particularly among the 
Gen Ys. thanks to Harry Potter
