I for one would like a mascot that not only embodies what OpenSolaris
means to us (and is meant to be for everybody else), but also that is
not influenced by a "fashion trend" (read: "Web 2.0", for instance).

"Y" as in "why?". Suposedly, the ones who follow Generation X. Also
called "the millenials", i.e. roughly the people that now are in their
mid-twenties.

something like that.
