I don't think having the OGB as the starting point for all work
scales well, and I don't see a need for it.   Why not this model
instead:
  - Darren thinks we need a mascot, and suggests advocacy does it
  - advocacy goes and does it, comes back with a result
  - if advocacy wants it's decision endorsed as the output of the
    entire opensolaris community, then it asks the OGB for a stamp
    of approval

The third step is of course entirely optional, depending on what
the community wants to do with the result.

(It could also be "Advocacy result requires approval from Sun
  trademark owner, which falls under the OGB role of liason
  between the community and Sun, so asks the OGB to get approval."
  Though the people in the Advocacy community know who at Sun to
  talk to about that better than the OGB does, and the OGB would
  probably turn around to ask them for advice on who to send the
  formal request to.)
