hey ...

What is the language situation there? In other words, how much English 
is understood? How much is actually spoken? The reason I ask is that in 
East Asia (China, Japan, Korea) most of the developers (and tech people 
generally) understand English much better than they can speak English. 
The reasons for this are obvious, but I don't know anything about 
Eastern Europe. Is it similar?

Oh, and also, if you want to do completely Polish conference, that's 
cool. Do it. Don't change on my account. I'm just one guy. And I can 
find another excuse to stop by, believe me. :) I'm spending a lot of 
time in Asia right now, but my job is global and I'm interested in 
emerging markets so I'll be around your way as well.
