Hey Moinak && Jim,
Jim && Moinak,

why not doing both the real time delivery plus the n-weekly digest?
That serves most contradicting interests, maybe ...
I can only speak of myself, but I usually open the URL's instantly and 
read the target through. This only takes two minutes. It just serves as 
distraction(s) during a break. To do that with a digest (which then 
again has other benefits), I needed to explicitly dedicate an hour to 
that task, and maybe I wouldn't be able or willing to.
