Two corrections:
--> Even with speed reading techniques: It takes me admittedly more than 
two minutes (depending on language considerably more, if at all / 
otherwise still names and cross references).
--> Interesting and welcome distraction, there is always something fancy 
hidden, possibly several levels of cross-referencing away, such as this: 
http://blogs.sun.com/jimgris/entry/opensolaris_at_intel_developer_forum

... and two additions:
[advocacy-discuss] is not so much a technical list by design, so those 
links are very much on-topic.
And the digest-functionality is already there, if one goes into the 
jive- or ML- archives. One could consider this ml a log file for all 
important shining events logged in real-time, immediately available for 
reading/discussion. Plus as historic archive for reference purposes. I 
would never have trashed such a message.
