Ok, so we have a couple of things going on here that may be confusing:
First, there is an existing system of handling the Sun Campus
Ambassador User Group Program -- which is a single project on
opensolaris.org with multiple CA pages /within/ that project. That's
sort of the same situation we had with the old UG Community before we
decided to move all existing UGs to projects.
Second, we have a new OpenSolaris User Group Project proposal process
(the OGB process) for initiating new OpenSolaris User Groups here with
the Advocacy Community Group. So, it's a bit messy, but it's a good
problem to have. :)
First things first, I'm happy to set up a Mailman list for you if that's
what you are requesting based on the CA program. I think it's confusing
to put that in /this/ proposal process since you don't have a project
space on the site; you have a page /within/ a project on the site and
you want a list. We don't have to go to the OGB for that.
So, if it's more desirable for the CA's to have individual pages within
one project (as it is now), then I don't think you need this additional
proposal. It should be part of the initial proposal so you don't have to
do things twice. Sorry for the confusion.
Is there an email list for the CA program that I can write to to clarify
this?
Jim
