Well,

That' fair enough. Simply because you're the creator of one particular 
OS doesn't automatically give you god like powers to know all the OSes. 
I'm convinced it doesn't make time go slower either...see this next point...

 From what I can tell, he tries to spend as much time with his family as 
he can. Personally, I don't think it's wrong for him to choose family 
over investigating Solaris :)

I thought computers were meant to make our lives easier so we can be 
around real people more...oh how I was once young and full of dreams!

> c) that he will only look at features in Solaris, if someone he trusts
> brings them to his attention

And that's the way the world tends to work - it's a meritocracy but 
having the trust of people is always important.
