Well, I think the point is that some people /want/ to use the forums. :) 
Others have asked me as well, but I can't go setting up dozens of broken 
forums only to burden the website team for something that is not 
necessary. Nice to have, maybe, but not necessary -- especially since 
mailman works very well and offers basic communications and archiving. 
But if the jive issues are going to be resolved, or removed entirely 
with a new solution, I'm more than happy to go back and offer that to 
all the UGs. I just need to find out where we are on it.
