Well, there is 3 UGs in Australia as I can see :

Ok, you'd have to get a plane to see them...it's almost the same for
many of our members in fosug.

Tasmania to England ? Wow. One of my dream is to move from France to
Sydney ! What could be the reason to move to England from
Australia ? :)

Yes, you're right Joep !
Metrics on domains are not relevant. People visiting os.org from
France or any other european country may have a .com, .org .eu .
Concerning OpenSolaris installations, figures/maps are just funny.
Another fact, the French-speaking UG is one of the only UG to have
been founded by non-Sun employees. We do have members who are working
at Sun (France only...where are you Canadians, Africans and other
french-speaking Sun people ?), but the board of our association was
founded without them.

I can't compete with Dutch UG on meeting turn-up. It's one of our goal
to increase participants, but it's really hard with no sponsor. We are
looking for some companies to help us to organize big envalisation
meeting, with special guests and so on. But how could we pay for guest
trip, barco rent, etc, if we have no money ?

Universities...hum it's a huge and intersting challenge.
Joep, do you know Dutch Campus Ambassadors ?
Is there a mandatory mailing list or something like that where we
could, we UGs, contact Campus Ambassador ?

Sorry Craig to have used your message to request help...you're right
we need to have a better audience; but we need HELP !
