hey ...
It's been a long time since we've had any new Advocacy Core
Contributors. Our current list is here:
http://opensolaris.org/os/community/advocacy/contributors/
Please note that under our current governance system, all of the OSUGs
are endorsed by the Advocacy Community. That's about 5K people spread
out among 94 groups around the world. So, as people do things worthy of
CC status within the OSUGs, we need to know about it in the main
community here. That's the only way we can vote and grant CC status to
those who seek it and deserve it. And for us to know about all this,
someone has to write some nominations.
So, if anyone wants to propose some new CCs, this is a good time to
start. Please review the Advocacy voting and nomination rules for
Contributors and Core Contributors here:
http://opensolaris.org/os/community/advocacy/
See below as well.

OpenSolaris Community Leaders: This is a reminder to start thinking
about updating your Community Core Contributor lists to get ready for
the March 2009 elections. You can check CC status at
http://poll.opensolaris.org/ under the "Grants" tab. Only Core
Contributors can vote. Current governance here:
