Hi Jim,
you seem to become my base discussion partner for tricky questions ;).
So here my list of ideas, not sure which ones are feasible or make
enough sense to implement but treat it as a think thank.
- keep a list of all events where OpenSolaris will take part or will be
represented, ech with a link to its own page where people could express
if they want to help, come visit, take part in running a booth ?
- create a list where people could express their readiness to speak and
present at events with their contact details, so organizers of events
have a chance to contact them and find out if they would be willing to
take part in events
- create a space where people can add their own events, partly to ask if
someone would want to participate as opensolaris.org, or asking for
volunteers to help with the event.
It would probably also help to have a place where potential sponsors
could express their willingness to provide space for some opensolaris
advocates to present stuff on their booth ?
Just my 2c EUR (oh I ran out of those so today my 2p GBP)
cheers
Michal
