I have some experience working with FreeBSD ports, if I can learn the
package format (I'm sad OpenSolaris won't support source packages?, at
least that's what I'm aware of?) then I can be of a bit of help, as I
have a bit'o software porting experience. I can even maintain certain
packages that I could work on, including maybe a "official" ecartis
package for OpenSolaris (ecartis is the MLM that ISC and SGI use for
their list management, I am on the "core" team of developers)
