[advocacy-discuss] Request for Contributor status

I support this request. Joe has been at the forefront of OpenSolaris 
advocacy
via Blogs, roping in media attention, pushing engineers to deliver talks at
various FOSS forums and so on.
A lot of the OpenSolaris traction that we have here esp. via BOSUG etc. 
would
not have been possible without his efforts.
