Maps (except OpenSolaris ug location ;) ) are from the Nations Online  
Project.
Legend says :

EU Members for the Germany color
EU Members since 2004 for Poland color

Yep. I'm near Spain (Toulouse)...it's really funny...and maybe odd (?)  
when passing the frontier with children...
Really hard for them to imagine they was a separation just in the  
middle of a bridge or in the middle of nowhere ! ;-)
