Not sure how, but I missed this note earlier, but want to second this, 
most definitely +1

Brian was my inspiration for helping build a NY OpenSolaris community 
and has contributed
quite extensively.     :-)

(We have 50+ participants on the list, and our January mtg had about 30 
ppl attending, just yesterday).
