Yep. It took way longer than anyone realized, no question, but as Shawn 
suggests below progress has been made elsewhere so we should point that 
out. We are engaging the community at multiple levels, but it's just not 
always consistent or spread evenly across the entire project. And I see 
Tim making all kinds of changes around here, so keep the faith Alan. 
We're getting there.

Very good point. I know off hand that JDS and g11n are out there and 
taking contributions. I don't have a comprehensive list of everyone though.
