Hi Jim,

Based on my personal experience, I think the same change also happens 
around China.
Especially, students at college are attracted and will love to download 
and have a try.
Here is a good example, there are totally 90336 downloads right now from 
fttp://sun-site.org:8080/sunsite/
which is a portal maintained by China Campus Ambassador.



It is really amazing and excited. I asked one of students who has 
downloaded and installed a question,
- Q: "What is your impressed feeling about this new release OpenSolaris?"
- A: "The wifi andCompiz can work at once, it is so cool to run the 3D
desktop environment and surf the internet by wifi device."

At the coming BJOSUG July meeting, we plan to introduce more about the 
OpenSolaris 08.05.
