I'm happy to see a new Belenix development list sponsored by the new
Distro CG. It's totally up to the Belenix leaders, though, as Shawn
suggests.
My view is that it wouldn't make sense for Advocacy to sponsor a new
Belenix dev list. We may as well start focusing (or encouraging, anyway)
the engineering activities of the distros around the new Distro CG.
Advocacy created belenix-discuss to accommodate the Belenix discussions
that grew out of the ug-bosug user group list in Bangalore. If
belenix-discuss will remain a general user list, it's certainly welcome
to stay here since Advocacy should be supporting user issues for all of
OpenSolaris. The Belenix website on Genunix has a forum link pointing to
belenix-discuss, but I think it's appropriate for Belenix to have a
development list /and/ a user list linked off that project page even
though the two lists are sponsored by different CGs on opensolaris.org.
