I think you are right.
With this in mind there should be logo design variations that makes it  
possible one way or the other.

Or Polar bears and operating systems....

What about adjusting the fonttype in 'turnstile-moebius.png' a bit  
more into the direction of the well known
'OpenSolaris' fonttype?
