Draft Motion for a new project called "Events Participation and Advocacy 
Project"

Purpose: OpenSolaris event interaction management

Sponsors: Advocacy Community Group

Initial Participants: Michal Bielicki (cypromis)
                                  Jim Grisanzio (jimgris)

Description: The project will be managing and coordinating all 
information and resources regarding the participation of members of the 
OpenSolaris.org community in public events. This will initially consist of:

- Making sure that all events worldwide, that have opensolaris.org 
participation get listed on the right pages in the opensolaris.org website
- Making sure that opensolaris.org gets visibility at the events site 
and marketing maerials
- Coordinate cooperation between event organizers and people ready to 
help with booth duty, marketing etc
- Create a wiki that will help people who want to organize events or 
event participation to find speakers, helpers etc and vice versa
- Keep a list of contacts to sponsoring parties, to help people needing 
sponsorships for events reaching the right resources
- Be the single point of contact for sponsors, people outside the 
community wanting to speak at events etc and coordinate that with the 
parties searching for those.

Ressources needed: a portal page and a wiki
