I'm not complaining either way; I just meant to make crystal clear that
changing a logo underneath a community is a rather good way to upset
everyone, even with apparent consensus and that if those who are proposing
the change care about that, then it would definitely be possible to do
this in a way that might minimise discontent, and suddenly announcing
that Sun are paying for a new logo to be chosen Real Soon Now and "sorry
but there's no time to ask anyone about it" would be a particularly bad
way to foster community spirit.
