I understand the time constraints, but these sorts of things tend to be
hard to kill once they are executed on. I'd prefer to stick with the
existing wordmark until it can be properly sorted out.
I don't really have a choice in this, I have no recourse, but I'll go on
record as vehemently opposing this design. Its not distinctive, its not
memorable, it conveys very little (I could argue that the grouping of
various sided "blobs" convey collaboration or community, but thats a
stretch); its just not a logo to build a brand on. As an active contrib
of Advocacy, I need a logo/mark/image that I can build a brand on, and
this isn't it.
