The engineers that Sun sponsors will be making a new version of  
Solaris that has your needs in mind once the version created with the  
needs of others is better evolved, according to the preso Tim gave -  
he called it "(Open)Solaris LTS". Sounds like OpenSolaris 2008.05 is  
not for you and it would be better to wait for that rather than  
continue to focus on something that makes you so unhappy.
