For an OpenSolaris enterprise release, I'd vehemently agree
with you.

For an OpenSolaris developer desktop release, I'd argue that
it is only a P2 bug, intentionally prioritized behind the
P1: Not being immediately and intuitively usable by Linux
developers one.
