Some clarification, hopefully...

(probably very nice and Mo"bius) better than nothing?

No (definitely no underline - very cheesy); what I meant was that the 
final Go to OpenSolaris.org has no graphic at all to its left. Maybe 
just an arrow sigil or suchlike in the same style could be inserted...

If you look carefully at the vertical alignment of the tick marks and 
their associated textual content, they do not all align exactly 
vertically - their is a very minor "jaggedness".

Yup. Again a tough one to fix in a short timeframe; but I suspect doable 
(if you have nothing else in your diary at the moment ;-) )
