No reason you couldn't propose an OpenSolaris Art project for people  
to contribute wallpapers, themes etc., I suppose... I guess you'd be  
looking for it to be sponsored by the Desktop community.  Or start  
small and just set up a page on genunix.org where people can  
contribute their efforts.
