I know I made a comment about using text for the download size, being a
relatively placed bit of text, overlaying the graphic ... I kinda liked the
graphic :) I hope that’s not why it got chopped.
What about aligning the OpenSolaris.Org stuff to the right and bring the
line more center?
I still disagree with having two identities (.Org and .Com) I think this
should remain transparent to the user as best as possible.
I like the quasi hidden look of opensolaris at the top in blue.
I think the Go to OpenSolaris.org is kinda redundant... wouldn’t they
potentially already be there?
Derek... good work... don’t take my comments as malicious, not everyone can
be pleased with every solution, that includes me!

Subject: [website-discuss] Splash page
All,
Working off everyone's feedback and the pages Michelle put together,
here is the latest plan for 5/5:
http://www.opensolaris.org/sc/derek/splash_index.html
Only the 'learn' link works right now the others will look the same.
There will five pages, one splash and four landing pages.
Each page will have link to the current site.
I'm not sure about the 'from now on, skip this page' cookie. Do people
feel like that's a 'must have' given that any /os/ bookmarks will still
be accurate?
Comments welcome.
Derek
