Hello all.

Big congrats to you!

(snipped a very interesting share of thoughts)

I nothing am but a follower of the OS evolution. I have been a Linux
sysadmin for 13+ years, and I have studied Solaris 10 for a possible
certification and practical use at work. I even own a Blade 1000 on
which I practise, but that's another story.

What I really would like to say is that I subscribe Damian's email
100%. I humbly think that {Open,}Solaris has much more to offer than a
well-known GUI. Granted, something familiar to many people can speed
adoption; but if we forget the core values that are unique to
{Open,}Solaris, maybe the whole point will be missed. Nor nostalgia
nor jumping in the "we use this or that GUI" wagon will make computers
work. Practical solutions already available in the OS camp, will.

Just my .02 EUR. Sorry if I did any bold statement. I know people try
to do his/her best in making OS a success.

Regards and keep the good work up. You all rock!
