Yes, and I'm not actually saying anything against having "marketing weapons"
right for this purpose. Actually whenever attending, say, a more prominent
JUG or whatever user group meeting, the current NetBeans shirts do pretty
well serve do as they're supposed to (not even talking about trade fairs
like CeBit... :>).

cases, by then, I have to deal with people like myself - software developers
in mid-sized to larger companies, situations in which we usually appear as
solution provider visiting a customer, situations in which to go with a
certain "dress code" (...), situations in which I more than often see people
sitting in front of me wearing black suits and shirts, leaving the only
notable "marketing" gadget about them possibly an Oracle pen or a Sun
Microsystems tabloid block. It is small, but it seems _outstandingly_
effective. ;)
