Hello OpenSolaris Community,

 

I'm am interested in joining an OSUG however I am based in a town called Warrington which is North West of England (closer to Manchester than Liverpool). Would it be possible if a new user group be created for us northerners? 

 

Unfortunately I don't have two participants at the moment so would anyone else be interested in joining this community? I could get two of my work colleges to join when they are back from annual leave. 

 

I have experience working with Solaris as a System Administrator for o2. We maintain, monitor and upgrade sparc and some x86 servers with a Solaris platform. I hope to take my sys admin part 1 and part 2 exams some time this year to be a certified System Administrator by Sun. introducing new projects to the organisation and fault fixing I am aware of the work involved when developing an OS. 

 

The location of a new OSUG I propose to be in Manchester, England. MOSUG. I appreciate your time.
