Hi Nathan,

There are a number of Sun and specifically opensolaris-related people in the Manchester area, as we have an office in Sale, so it should be possible to persuade some of those folks to participate.

In addition there is a grass-roots organisation called GeekUp (http://geekup.org/) in the NW area where a lot of the people in the various open source communities hang out, and there are people on the geekup mailing list who are interested in opensolaris so I've taken the liberty of cross-posting your query to their mailing list as well.  It might be worth your while subscribing to that list as well, to see who is interested.
