Great idea and booklet! I'll put note in my 'database of ideas'
to do it later this year with our regional (distributed
in whole Balkan countries) computer oriented magazines.
I'm little busy to do it this summer.
Thanks for this,

Subject: [advocacy-discuss] OpenSolaris 2009.06 booklet Distribution in India
Hello Everybody!
Indians would be celebrating monsoon with OpenSolaris this month ;) We have worked with one of the biggest IT magazines in India to come out with an 16 page exclusive booklet for OpenSolaris 2009.06. This booklet includes a comprehensive introduction to OpenSolaris, installation guide with VirtualBox, a workshop based tutorial to set up web and java development environment and an interview of Glynn Foster. This booklet talks at length about opensolaris.org and communities behind opensolaris. There is a subsection on OSUGs as well and the links to some Indian OSUGs are also given! You can download and freely redistribute this booklet from my blog http://blogs.sun.com/krabhishek/entry/opensolaris_2009_06_exclusive_booklet A total of 120,000 copies of this booklet would be distributed all over the nation, including schools and libraries. Along with this, an another major Indian IT magazine is carrying the OpenSolaris Live CD with them and they have a readership of 180,000! I am really hoping that it would help us drive opensolaris in India and make it a household name amongst the young developers and users.
Your valuable comments are most welcome.
Cheers,
Abhishek
