I don't mean to rain on your parade, but how much of this stuff is open
source? Commercial software if I'm not mistaken is generally market
driven. If you're truly interested in results I'd identify the closest
open source counterpart.. ensure it's ported to opensolaris and lastly
implement the missing features/functionality you and your colleagues
need. If you can't code then maybe you can contribute in other ways.
