[advocacy-discuss] Proposal for Thames Valley OSUG

The London OSUG is currently the only formal OSUG in the south east of
England.  There are many tech companies and lots of known OpenSolaris
users and developers who live in the Thames Valley area (ie that centred
roughly around Reading/Wokingham etc).   After some recent discussion on
the LOSUG alias there appears to be consensus that the formation of an
additional OSUG to be based in the Reading area has complementary
benefit to the London one.

As the original instigator of this I'm proposing the formation of:

Full Name: Thames Valley OpenSolaris User Group
Short Name/URL: TVOSUG

Description:

An informal complementary group to LOSUG centred in the Thames Valley
area.  While likely to be initially of interest to OpenSolaris
developers the hope is to get interest from students at the local
universities as well as system admins.
