Hi,

I'm not sure if this helps, but there is an OpenSolaris 2008.11 Cloud
service available now. It seems like we could develop some training
modules for our cloud that are at least better than the 3 things we
currently suggest folks play with (GNOME, Tracker, and Gobby). Also
could very well be a dead end...

So, another option other projects use with success is Webex. You can try
it free for 14 days to see how it goes. I'd love to see a line up of
Webex events for upcoming OpenSolaris topics, would be great filler
between in-person events and a way for me to 'attend' FROSUG from CA.
You can talk to slides, share your desktop, or share the desktop of
anyone in the meeting:

I suspect you could morph meeting content into training modules and
other cool stuff, but I didn't look around very long. If nothing else,
Webex supports S10, so we should get OpenSolaris on their radar as
supported alongside Ubuntu, SUSE, etc. I just joined the demo meeting
and it looks great on b106. Basic subscription is $59 per month with
meetings limited to 25 attendees. So, if all the UGs could use one
subscription it could be very cool.

Thanks for thinking about this,
Michelle
