If you're looking for answers to legal matters, the only place to go is 
to an attorney or lawyer in your own jurisdiction  He/She will tell you 
what is and is not legal for you to do.

This list is not entitled to do so, and doesn't have the knowledge to 
anyway. The scary words on opensolaris.org may or may not apply to you 
depending on where you live.

Though I bet you wouldn't want to piss off your employer :-)
