hey,

As I am sure you are aware, the community election results were posted 
last week and there is now a new OGB. Congratulations to the new board 
members. :)

Unfortunately, however, the new Constitution was not approved. Although, 
most people who voted in the election voted for the Constitution, we 
apparently needed a higher percentage of affirmative votes. There are 
some active threads about how to handle the situation, and some good 
proposals as well. See the OGB forum if you are not subscribed to

The OGB will be discussing the election results in their upcoming calls,

So, for now everything stays the same in terms of governance and how 
Advocacy and the OSUGs play in governance.
