OK, let me try again.

---

When a "network--" event has been detected, how should the system handle it?

	1. Query the user after ___ seconds as to possible actions.
	2. After ___ seconds, assume the network is gone and reconfigure
	   accordingly.
	3. Do nothing; the user will handle it manually.
(Note that, in both options 1 and 2, 0 seconds means immediately.)

---

In other words, I agree that querying should be an option (it was an oversight
rather than anything intentional which led me to omit it in my previous
message), but I also believe that not querying (i.e., auto-magic) should be
an option. Further, I believe that there will be people who feel strongly on
both sides, so in the interest of avoiding a religious war, it seems the only
solution is to support both options, probably on a per-profile basis.
