Hi!
Only last night I migrated to OpenSolaris, just to check what it is. I'm not a techie and dont know much about compiling and all.
After installation I couldnt play any multi media files. After checking crazily for a while I learnt about implementing decoder from Fluendo and now i'm able to play MP3's. But still couldn't find a way to play video files of any type: DVD, .avi, .wmv, .mpeg etc. No place - documentation site or forums gives me this detail.

Can someone help me in setting things up to view video's?? As I said, I'm not a techie and if I cant play video's there is not point in staying here.

Make sure you go to system requirements tab, it tells you which os are supported.  Post and let us know what you decide to do!
