Only last night I migrated to OpenSolaris, just to check what it is. I'm not a techie and dont know much about compiling and all. After installation I couldnt play any multi media files. After checking crazily for a while I learnt about implementing decoder from Fluendo and now i'm able to play MP3's. But still couldn't find a way to play video files of any type: DVD, .avi, .wmv, .mpeg etc. No place - documentation site or forums gives me this detail. Can someone help me in setting things up to view video's?? As I said, I'm not a techie and if I cant play video's there is not point in staying here.
