[arc-discuss] restrictive email alias posting rules on OS.o are impacting open ARC discussions (eg. PSARC-EXT 2006/550 - ksh93)...

The ksh93 case was submitted today by April and Don (as PSARC-EXT 2006/550).
Unfortunately, not too many people outside of Sun know this because the mail
announcing the case submission isn't being accepted by the mail software
camped on the opensolaris-arc@ and ksh93-integration@ aliases. It isn't
accepted because the senders aren't subscribed to all the aliases being
included in the conversation.
As it is impractical and undesirable to have everyone subscribed everywhere,
I need a solution that meets these needs:
Any ARC related mail needs to be accepted by all the community and
project aliases on OS.o.
ARC related mail must not require the sender to have membership
on any OS.o alias. That is, ARC related email will come from many
places, including non OS.o members.
The mail will always be tagged with a pattern in the Subject: line
to help
identify it (/^Subject:.*PSARC-EXT[
/][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]/[0-9][0-9][0-9]/)
The mail gateway function should add little or no latency to the
process - in particular, manual moderation of messages is extremely
undesirable.
Suggestions?
