This sounds like an opportunity to exercise the community governance
process in the ARC Community :-)

Accordingly, as a core contributer in the ARC community, I propose
that the following OpenSolaris community members who are active on
LSARC be formally considered for either Contributer or Core Contributer
status, as noted below (missing member/intern names reflect their
non-participation in the OpenSolaris community). I invite the ARC
Community Core Contributers to respond to this ARC Community vote:

	sommerfe	Bill Sommerfeld
	edgould Ed Gould (retired)
	gww Gary W. Winiger
	glenn Glenn C. Skinner
	carlsonj	James D. Carlson
	jek3 Joseph E. Kowalski
	kais Kais Belgaied
	tpm Tim Marsland
	plocher John Plocher

Core Contributer status for LSARC Members:

A Contributor who is an active and sustained contributor to any
Community Group and accepts designation as such by said Group
shall be termed a Core Contributor for said Group and granted the
status of Member for the OpenSolaris Community as a whole.

Designation as a Core Contributor requires nomination of a
Participant by an existing Core Contributor (that's what I
am doing here), followed by a Group decision by consensus
vote to approve that designation, and finally acceptance of
	the designation by the Participant.

Addition of Core Contributor requires a Consensus vote:

At least three (3) binding +1 votes and no -1 votes
(i.e., unanimous with a minimal quorum of three votes).

mac	Mark Carlson Storage Community contrib
alanc	Alan Coopersmith	OGB and X Community core contrib
dduvall	Danek Duvall ON and Tools community core contrib
tcm	Terrence Miller ARC community contrib (via PSARC)

Contributer status for LSARC Intern

A participant who has been acknowledged by one or more Community
Groups as having substantively contributed toward accomplishing
the tasks of that Community Group, shall be termed an OpenSolaris
Contributor. Such designation is permanent and persists regardless
of the person's current level of activity or status within the
	Community.

The Contributors of a Community Group shall include every person
who has been designated by the Core Contributors of that Group to
have contributed substantively to that Group's efforts

yippi	brian cameron Desktop core contrib

Addition of a Contributer seems to simply require an Assumed
	approval:

Approval is assumed unless a -1 vote is received,
after which the action is reverted or the issue
is decided by Majority or Consensus vote, depending
		on the type of action.

Each Core Contributor of a Community Group has the right to one binding
vote on each proposed action of the Community Group. Other Participants
may express their opinions through non-binding votes.
