That is not strictly true. Integration is done by those with the
vested interest to see that it gets done. This might be author (push)
or the project owners (pull) depending on who wants to see it happen
enough to do the work. If it is not important enough to Joerg to
do it, and it is not important enough to anyone at Sun to do it,
and it is not important enough to anyone else in the OS community
to do it, then it is not important enough to get done. Certainly
it was important enough for some of his work to get integrated, which
is why some of it is already in the WOS.
Certainly a lot of people here would like to see it get done, but
if nobody wants to do it, then it isn't going to get done. Simple
as that. It has nothing to do with whether or not a push or a pull
"feels right".
