AFAIR, I send him mail and he replied that he might do when he finds the time.
This was in private mail....

The mailing list at star-discuss at opensolaris.org is open to discuss things.
It seems to be better to discuss this kind of things in the open to help other 
people to recognize that the process did not start yet.
