[awards-program] Time to get to work

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about the awards program and there is so much that 
needs to get done.  In fact, the third-party legal provider has asked 
that we get a draft of our program to them by next Friday 12/21 if at 
all possible.  I'd like to shoot for that date.

Here are some things that I think need doing.  They are in no particular 
order.  Please comment, add to the list, etc...

Let's also start discussing by phone on Monday, December 17th at 4pm PT.

General
- decide if we are going to stick with the areas that have been proposed
- determine if prizes are the same globally, $x go a lot farther in 
China and India for example
- remember to consider the impact of the $ amount: smaller amount more 
checks, larger amount more paperwork
- contact other communities re: how they are handling certain things 
like payment
- website work - will the final final thing be on Genunix too?  
opensolaris.org?  How do we get that ball rolling?

Student Research
- dig up summer research awards for team to review and comment
- submission process
- establish criteria for review
- get reviewers

Device Drivers
- develop list of DD
- inform DD community
- determine if all DD will get same award level
- figure out how to track who is working on which driver - or do we care?

Apps and Packages
- get list of apps and packages needed
- inform the Packaging project
- determine if all apps and packages will get same award level
